Best Invention EVER

My husband hit his first port, for this deployment over the weekend! I was never big into skype- nor was he-- but it was heaven using it- I look forward to our next port so we can skype again!!
I think I may become a skype addict!! The Skype inventor is a freaking genius!! no joke!

Talking to him, Seeing him, feeling like he was in the room with me made me like a giddy school girl with her first crush!

losing sleep and not working out as much was totally worth it! and i even lost half a pound! who knew! Now its back to the grindstone. going to a TRX class tomorrow :D (TRX is an amazing suspension training class.) Wish me luck! last time i was sore for DAYS!!!

I really hate the rumor mill in this lifestyle- they remind me of that game we played as children.. "telephone"
it starts out as something quite innocent-but by the time it gets to the intended source the rumor has blown out of proportion. it really grinds my gears. that is really it for now.

Starting Over

Wow how in the heck has it been so long since I have blogged! seriously! There has been a billion things that have happened! from him coming home- from a 7 month deployment August 15th 2010! a wonderful day! to vacation in september, multiple underways before the he got orders to go to elevator school and orders to move to Bremerton WA- we really lucked out since we are from here!!! He is on deployment again. I am handling this one much better- but i think its because i really didn't get the chance to adjust to him being home. It is what it is! We are so much stronger because of it :D

This deployment I have a serious goal to lose weight-- We found out i have hypthyroid and PCOS this weight loss journey is going to be some journey! i have lost about 5 pounds since they left.. i just hope i can continue to lose that the rest of the months he is gone.
